Ward 4: Roy Shoults

As a lifelong student Roy is running because he has
a passion for learning

When it comes to education it’s safe to say Roy Shoults is a true believer. When you talk to Roy about his run for Ward 4 School Board member you are immediately struck by his passion for education. Why? His favorite occupation is student.

In his own words:

Why am I running for School Board? I am running because I want to make the most effective use of your tax dollars while giving the best possible education to Manchester’s students. I also believe that the School Board needs to refocus and learn to work together to provide the best possible outcomes for city students. I am someone that will work across party lines and work with my fellow school board members. We need cooperation to succeed.

Biography:

Roy Shoults is a retired clinical social worker. Roy Shoults served in the Korean War as a Troop Information & Education Specialist. Upon return he graduated from the University of Virginia and received a graduate degree in social work from Syracuse University. He currently belongs to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute where he attends and teaches classes.
