School Board Candidate Profile – Ward 3: Chris Stewart

Ward 3: Chris Stewart

Hopeful parent seeking a balance

Chris Stewart is used to being the person behind the scenes helping to get people elected. This time Chris Stewart decided that the issues facing the Manchester School District were too important for him to sit on the sidelines. As a taxpayer and a hopeful parent,

Chris Stewart wants to be part of the solution. If successful, Chris Stewart will work to increase classroom technology, reduce class sizes, expand public-private partnerships while keeping taxes low.

In his own words:

Why am I running for School Board? I am running for school board to help provide Manchester students a proper education in a cost effective manner. Finding the balance between the best possible education for city students and limited tax dollars is critical. It’s imperative that we have leaders on the school board that are willing to protect our students and the taxpayers.
