When it comes to representing you Steve Vaillancourt is someone you can count. As a State Representative Steve Vaillancourt has never missed a day or a vote! If he’s involved you can be certain he’s committed. When it comes to budgets and number crunching Steve Vaillancourt is a “go to” guy. He loves it and people seek him out for help and answers. Why? Steve Vaillancourt knows where the money goes, where it’s coming from and what’s important.Why am I running? I want to hold the line on taxes and spending and I will get the job done. As a member of House Finance Committee I played a vital role in reigning in state spending to avoid new taxes and fees. I am not afraid to face the problem and make tough decisions. As a member of the Hillsborough County Executive Committee, I also led the effort to cut a proposed six percent tax increase to zero which saved Manchester taxpayers greatly.

Biography:

Steve is currently serving his 6th term in the House of Representatives in Concord. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Plymouth State College with a B.A. in History in 1974 and holds a place in the Sports Hall of Fame at Plymouth State for broadcasting.
